Tuning the MTI boatWednesday, April 16.th: Ugland Offshore Racing is taking full advantage of the extended break before the next race, the Hypo Group Montenegrin Grand Prix in Budva on 25 May, to make modifications to their MTI, Mercury-Class 1 powered catamaran, Jotun.The raceboat is now in the workshop in Fredrikstad, with driver-technician, Bjorge Jacobsen and Ken Mckissick, brought in from the USA, overseeing the work load.

Jotun cruelly robbed of podium finish in Qatar

Jotun in the lead…CLASS 1 WORLD POWERBOAT CHAMPIONSHIP
QATAR GRAND PRIX, DOHA

Saturday, March 1.st, DOHA (Qatar): Jorn Tandberg and Borge Jacobsen were cruelly robbed of a certain podium finish in their first Class 1 Grand Prix together, when a technical problem ended their race on lap 12 out of 20.
