Jotun adds excitement and colour to 2008
Ugland Offshore Racing end the season as the 2008 Class 1 European Champions and the highest placed European team in both the overall World Championship and Edox Pole Position standings, finishing in fifth and third places respectively.
But more importantly, it was a year that the Championship discovered a new star in Inge Brigt Aarbakke, who, alongside the experienced throttleman, Jorn Tandberg, in the scarlet, Mercury Class 1 V8 powered Jotun, immediately formed a potent partnership and the only one able to step up to the plate to challenge - and beat…twice - the mighty Middle East teams of Victory and Qatar.
